This FamLab is an all-ages NFT collab from New Zealand. We support artists, both young and old, to work on and launch sustainable digital art projects and IP into the metaverse. Our artists include:
Bitmap is the FamLab’s founder and a visual artist working on NFT collabs with family and friends. He is an OG CNFT (Cardano NFT) collector and crypto enthusiast.
Te Ata is a Māori visual artist from Aotearoa (NZ) who works in wood carving, painting, music, poetry and Māori motifs. Her work is some of the first Māori art on Cardano.
ZZ is an aspiring illustrator and digital artist who is developing a PFP collection called Zetta: Ladies of Legend, to propel strong female avatars into the metaverse.
Bexx is an aspiring film-maker who loves fandom culture. She is designing Maddox of Mournstead Manor, a concept inspired by Tim Burton, one of her film idols.
Pocket$$ is the youngest artist in the group, whose cool character drawings are reinterpreted as 3D avatars through the Sketchies NFT project.
Eton is an aspiring author whose flagship work is One-Hit Wonders, a five-year passion project to write an anthology of 1000 one-page flash fiction stories.
NCPX (the source of the Paradox Man) is an anomaly.
We aim to create ongoing and evolving bodies of work. This includes developing IP franchises that can spread across multiple media platforms such as ebooks, graphic novels, animations, music or film projects. Although this is an ambitious goal, we are mindful that this project is young (as are some of our collaborators) and we will aim for successful community-focused drops to support these emerging artists.
Watch this space for future FamLab creators.
